EU CONSUMER RIGHTS
Withdrawal instructions and model form
This page explains how an eligible consumer may exercise a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract. Mandatory rights under the law of your country remain unaffected.
1. When the withdrawal right may apply
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another country with a comparable mandatory rule, you may generally withdraw from a distance contract for a VidWise subscription within 14 days after the contract is concluded, without giving a reason, unless a lawful exception applies.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send an unambiguous withdrawal statement before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model form below, but its use is not mandatory.
2. Immediate performance
At checkout, VidWise asks you separately to request that the digital service begin immediately during the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after performance has begun, applicable law may require payment of a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time you informed the responsible trader of your withdrawal.
For an ongoing digital service, the right of withdrawal is not treated as lost merely because access started. Any loss of the right applies only after full performance and only where all conditions required by applicable law have been met.
3. How to withdraw
Send a clear statement to support@vid-wise.com stating that you withdraw from the contract. Include enough information to identify the purchase, such as the account email, purchase date, plan and Stripe receipt or subscription reference. Do not send full card details.
For a purchase processed through Stripe Managed Payments, the Stripe entity identified on your checkout and receipt is the merchant of record for the transaction. VidWise will coordinate the product and account aspects of the request, while Stripe administers the payment refund and transaction support within its Managed Payments scope.
We will acknowledge receipt of an electronic withdrawal request on a durable medium, normally by email, without undue delay.
4. Effects of withdrawal
Where withdrawal is valid, payments subject to reimbursement will be returned in accordance with applicable law and the merchant-of-record transaction terms, normally using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
After withdrawal or termination, you must stop using digital content or service access that you are no longer entitled to use. This does not affect content or rights that applicable law requires us to preserve or make available.
The voluntary first-purchase refund policy in the Terms is additional to statutory rights and does not replace or restrict them.
